Phase 3 of 3

Setting Alerts in TradingView using QuantLynk

Create the TradingView alert that fires the QuantLynk webhook every time your strategy generates a signal. Once it's live, trades are placed at your broker automatically.

~5 min per strategy 5 steps + verify One alert per strategy
Before You Start
Make sure you've completed Phase 1: TradingView and Phase 2: QuantLynk first. By this point, your strategy should be loaded on a Heikin Ashi MNQ1! chart and your QuantLynk User ID + Alert ID should be pasted into the strategy's Inputs.
Steps in this guide
  1. 08Open the Alerts panel
  2. 09Set the alert condition
  3. 10Edit the alert message
  4. 11Set the webhook URL
  5. 12Create the alert
  6. Verify it's working
Part 4 Create the TradingView Alert
8

Open the Alerts panel

On the right side of your TradingView chart, find the alarm clock icon and click the + button under the Alerts tab.

Set the alert condition

In the Create Alert dialog that opens, click the Condition dropdown and select your strategy from the list (e.g. The Chariot (Dynamic Sizing, ...)).

Edit the alert message

Scroll to the Message row at the bottom of the dialog and click on it.

The Edit Message dialog opens. Delete the default message and replace it with exactly this:

{{strategy.order.alert_message}}

Make sure there are no leading or trailing spaces. While you're here, name the alert something memorable — a useful pattern is Strategy Name + Account, like "The Chariot Bluesky" so you know which strategy is firing on which account.

Click Apply to return to the main alert dialog.

Edit Message → paste tag → Apply
11

Set the webhook URL

Back in the main alert dialog, click the Notifications row (where it says "App, Toasts ›"). In the Notifications panel:

  1. Paste this URL into the Webhook URL field:
    https://lynk.quantvue.io/quantlynk/place-order
  2. Check the Webhook URL box to enable it.
  3. Click Apply to return to the main alert dialog.

This URL is the same for everyone — it's QuantLynk's endpoint that receives the signal from TradingView.

12

Create the alert

Back in the main alert dialog, click Create. Your alert is now live and will fire whenever the strategy generates a signal.

Part 5 Verify It's Working

Verify the full flow

The next time the strategy generates a trade signal, the flow should be:

TradingView Strategy fires → alert sends webhook to QuantLynk
QuantLynk Receives webhook → sends order to your broker
Tradovate Order is placed and filled

To verify:

If a signal fires but no order shows up
Check Trade Logs first. Most issues come down to one of three things:
  1. Wrong contract symbol in Symbol Mappings (rolled to a new quarter and you didn't update)
  2. User ID or Alert ID typo
  3. The webhook URL has a stray space
You're fully automated
Your Vibe Algos strategy is now wired end-to-end — TradingView sees the signal, QuantLynk relays it, and your broker fills it. Monitor your accounts regularly and trade only with capital you can afford to lose.
